Ashchurch, Gloucestershire Beggar Bush ?

The only source I have this for is Field, J., English Field-Names; A Dictionary, Newton Abbott, 1993, p.17.

One internet genealogy site for the Jordan family records a John Jordan who died 29th April 1573 buried at St Nicholas, Ashchurch parish church, and links him with Samuel Jordan of Beggars Bush, Charles River, Virginia. This does not seem justified.
